mind wrap-up

Bonjour mon amies! This is my 360th post, whew, we've officially come full circle ;). I register for my last semester (ever!) of classes in about 45 minutes... blows my mind. Do you get sentimental when things happen for the first and/or final time?
The weekend is here! It may not include a homemade sandwich like this one but I couldn't be happier. Last night I went out to see a few friends, nothing crazy. Tonight, on the other hand, is fall formal. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures! Do you have anything fun planned?
The boy is stopping by my house (at home) today around noon. He's dropping off my car and picking up my mom's, of which he'll drive up here and I'll take home in a week and a half for Thanksgiving. Speaking of food again ;) have you read about my top five meals yet?
When I was walking my dogs last weekend there was so many beautiful leaves on the trees. I hope they're still them for him to admire, he hasn't been in suburbia for a while. Up here though, I've noticed that all the leaves have blown away :( it's in the air too, the winter chill's a comin'!
This was my favorite dinner of the week: salmon, edamame, and broccoli, all with copious amounts of pepper which I'm pretty sure you can see. It was warm and delicious and satisfying. I know I say that about food quite often, but I sometimes feel that way about great book as well.
My roommate and I've been listening to Christmas music for weeks.  Now, down to business.

Last year I participated in a Secret Santa through the blogosphere, an exchange of heartwarming gifts among bloggers to spread the holiday cheer :). Most were homemade, others were a few sought after store items, but it wasn't the size of the gift, it was the thought that went into them. Would you be interested in participating this season? If so please email me at aroundtheworld340@gmail.com with "Bloggie Secret Santa" in the subject and your name and address in the body. I'll be announcing the swaps two weeks from today on November 27th. Thank you!
