warning: highly addictive

I did it! I did my first 5K! No matter that it was a combination of running and walking. I did it, my first 5K is done. I found a way to truly motivate myself to get out there and move again! The excitement, the adrenaline, the endorphins, I loved it all... and I'm thirsting for more!
"When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer.
I read comic books, and I was the hero of the comic book.
I saw movies, and I was the hero in the movie.
So every dream I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times...
I learned very early in life that: ‘Without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain’t got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend - without a song.'
So I keep singing a song."

Thank you, thank you very much, Elvis Presly. Today I ran for hope. The Rock and Run on the River was a celebration of all those who have survived and are surviving their battle with cancer. Positively invigorating. Of course, since beginning my day with such thrilling activity, everything that's followed has been low-key: brunch at the diner, sunbathing, reading, and grocery shopping. Everything a relaxing Sunday should be I suppose :) hope you're having a good one! See you tomorrow my loves, when the real work, I mean, week begins...

P.S. Wishing one very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the BEAUTIFUL GENA!
