for better or for worse

No real blogging tonight. To be perfectly, fearlessly honest, I have been experiencing what can only be explained as a relapse. It sucks, a lot, and I don't doubt for one second that it has a lot to do with coming home to nothing.

Ha, nothing. It's almost funny, because saying it like that doesn't account for the immense amounts of love that had been waiting for my return. Family. Friends. Sure not all of 'em are here in the New York area, but most of them are. And no matter where I am, it is so incredibly amazing to know that they are always available to say things like, well, this:
Just don't forget how amazing and brave and capable and beautiful and friendly and well-spoken and interesting and culturally-aware and open to new experiences and thin and happy and fulfilled and smart and exciting and fun you are and will continue to be. You don't need anybody to tell you twice or make you that way. You already are all of these things, and the right guy will see and appreciate it. And until you find him, or he finds you, you'll have such amazing experiences and you'll be independent and supporting yourself and single and fabulous when he comes around.
I just might be the luckiest girl in the world.

  3. It's a daily fight sometimes, and so much harder when, like you said, you "came home to nothing". Life after graduation has got to be one of the toughest things we all experience.

So sorry you are going through this... it will get better
