almost ready

Hi beautifuls! I cannot believe an entire week has passed without blogging... but I won't apologize. I've been busy beyond belief with necessary road trip prep like preparing, packing, and planning. And then, of course, there's the fun stuff. Enjoy the overview, it's quite delicious :).
Sunday: family time at my cousin Kyle's birthday party.
Wine and vegetables, what more could a girl need?
Monday day: errands & lunch at home.
Monday night: Indian dinner with Katie, one of my first friends.
It had been too long.
Tuesday afternoon: 'Wichcraft lunch with C (2nd from left),
with a side of Lincoln Center tour.
Tuesday night: Haven dinner with Leslie.
Roasted figs on a spinach and fontina pizza are incredible.

Wednesday: a day of relaxation with three homemade garden-fresh meals.

Wednesday night: wine and girl talk with Marisa (left).
Thursday afternoon: Flying Pig lunch with my grandma.
Local food tastes better.
Thursday night: a quirky happy hour reunion
...and then there were two.
Friday: savory breakfast at home and a mother & daughter spa day.
Although I doubt I'll be home sick, I will most definitely miss it. So I'm going to take Saturday to enjoy the very last bit of it- an oatmeal breakfast with loose-leaf tea, final visits and goodbyes to my favorites, a late afternoon Eat, Pray, Love with my mom and sister, a friendly end-of-the-summer bbq and a good night's sleep in my own bed. Sunday's the big day, the day it all begins, and with everything above, I'll most definitely be ready. Promise to check in once more beforehand!
