what is santacon?

Ahem. SantaCon is also a "non-denominational, non-commercial, non-political & non-sensical Santa Claus convention." Non-perishable food items are collected at the beginning, and adult beverages are enjoyed throughout the day. A portion of the proceeds made at most (if not all) bars are donated to Toys for Tots. As expected, Santa's Helper and I had a wonderfully festive time yesterday.

  9. I'm glad you had a good time! We raised $10,000 for Toys for Tots with our 30 charity bars and 6,000 lbs of food for the Bowery Mission and the Greenpoint Reformed Church. See you next year!
