the antidote

Take one, two, or three glasses of fantastically cheap and tasty wine,
a fresh workspace with snacks such as chocolate-covered peanuts and, say, amazing hummus and pita chips,
and a delicious home-cooked meal made by someone other than myself,
and you've got yourself my new favorite way to unwind after a ridiculously stressful day. At least for the time being. Upcoming weekend getaways to new and old beaches are sure to bring me back to my relaxed self next.

And if all else fails, there's always yoga. I most definitely need it.

  1. There's nothing like coming home at the end of the day to a nice tranquil space :) And yoga really is the best way to unwind and stretch out the stress

  2. Wine is the perfect antidote to a stressful day. I was just thinking that I need to go to the TJ's wine store to stock up on some summer whites and roses...

Hope to see you soon! And Happy Thursday :)

  3. Those all sound like my favourite ways! I love walking part way home and then going for a comforting bistro style dinner with steak frites and wine :)

Gillian: Sounds like another great way as well.

Sam @ Mom at the Barre: Yes! It was a Greek recipe for Manestra. So, so good.
