big sky country (bozeman, mt)

I asked my new Montana friends what I should get for my one meal in Bozeman. "Bison burger!" they exclaimed in unison, and sent me to the Garage for the best one in town. I hardly eat meat, I don't actually enjoy burgers, and I was enamored with it. Bison is so ridiculously flavorful that I ignored my uncomfortable stomach (my body just isn't used to digesting such things) and worked my way through. Paired with swiss cheese and sautéed mushrooms, it was so very worth it. And, for the record, my next few meals were perfectly veg-head friendly.

In a loving way, my host, her roommate, and her boyfriend described Bozeman as a city of hippies, rednecks, outdoor enthusiasts, and cowboys. It certainly is eclectic, and thereby amazing. I can't even tell you how much fun I've been having in the Midwest...

lookthroughmyspecs: By golly, I think you've got it! Also, you should try getting cowboys to come to Vermont, they're super cool :).
